The society operates a bank account in its name. All donations received are deposited into the society bank account and recorded. All payments are authorised and approved by the executive committee. The society’s bank account requires that at least two executive members sign to authorise all withdrawals, this ensures that consensus is reached and authority is obtained prior to all payments being made. This also assists in minimising the risk of financial mismanagement and /or misappropriation.
